Me doing what I do best!
Well, it has been some time since I’ve updated, hasn’t it? So, as one of the millions of people who visit my site, you ask me what I’ve been doing?
I was hoping that 2009 would yield slightly better results than 2008, but January kind of let me down. I turned 24 years old on the 18th, even though I don’t feel like it. I’ve been so desensitized to holidays that the day didn’t really mean much anyway. In the long run I’ll probably be better off, as hitting old age milestones won’t have that big of an impact as they do on some people. Either way, in regards to social life, 2009 has been more of the same for me.
Things have been steadily improving in work relations, as the goalie school has picked up new partners that will bring us more work during the week. Being on the ice and coaching has been one of the few things keeping me sane these days. Not much else going on aside from working and sleeping (or not sleeping when I should).
I had a few decent dreams recently, but nothing long enough to warrant typing it up. There was a zombie apocalypse dream where I had to sneak into a survivors bunker, but nothing too exciting happened. I have been writing some sonnets, but I don’t know if I’ll post any because they are sappy and embarassing.
Other than that, it has been business as usual. Figured I would share since there are so many people out there that care about what is going on in my life. Hopefully I’ll have some more to say in the future!

My Dell Mini
Even though I’ve had it for a bit, I finally had enough time to put it down and let you know about the latest addition to my electronic arsenal. You’ll have to look closely, because it’s pretty small.
Thanks to a certain lagoon shark, I received a new Dell Mini 9 Laptop. So far, I’m very happy with it, having taken the time to set up everything I need on it. I’ll probably grab 2 gigs of ram to throw in it, and that will be the extent of my mods for the time being. People are adding cool stuff to their minis, so perhaps I’ll do more in the future.
The Mini suits my needs very well, as I don’t need a powerhouse portable. I can use the mini to take along while taking photos away from home and also use it to edit and upload pictures on the fly. It is also small enough to fit in my camera bag, so I don’t need to carry any extra stuff, which is always a plus.
The only problem I faced with the mini was the placement of the apostrophe key on the keyboard. The already very small keyboard doesn’t bother me, but the apostrophe key placement really isn’t in an area that allows any kind of typing flow. Considering that I don’t use the colon/semicolon key nearly as much as the apostrophe, I just changed the keyboard profile to switch the colon/semicolon key to the apostrophe key, and now it is much better.
All in all, as I said before, I’m very happy with it, and I look forward to using it more in the future.
To view more images, read on.

I actually took a few pics yesterday, and got a couple pictures of Carl and Kitty that I liked and wanted to share with the world.
Enjoy!

As some may know, most of my sports graphics are usually related to the New York Rangers, as I am a fan of theirs, and also because I go to a game once in a blue moon and take pictures that I can then use in my graphics. However, I saw a picture (not taken by me) that I had an idea for, and ended up with this wallpaper, featuring the Anaheim Ducks’ Teemu Selanne. Hope you like it!
